Referrals to Adoption Resources

Oasis Adoption Services will provide information on adoption issues that the client requests or the social worker deems necessary to prepare the adoptive family for placement of a child. The following is a list of adoption topics which may be discussed with an adoptive family:

Oasis Adoption Services will make counseling services available to the adoptive family as the social worker deems reasonable and necessary to facilitate the child’s acceptance into the family and to preserve stability. OAS may make such services available by advising the adoptive family that such services may be beneficial and referring the adoptive family to community resources and providers.
Oasis Adoption Services will make information on adoption related educational and supportive resources available to adoptive families.
