Finalizing Adoption in Local Court

Oasis Adoption Services will file a petition with the court requesting a final hearing date for the adoption.
Preparing documents for requesting a new birth certificate will also be done.
Post placement visits will be conducted during this time and a final report will be submitted to the court at least 14 calendar days before the final hearing with a recommendation to final the adoption.
The social worker will attend the court hearing if it is required by the court in that county where the adoption is taking place.
