OAS will make counseling services available to the adoptive family as the social worker deems reasonable and necessary to facilitate the child’s acceptance into the family and to preserve stability. OAS may make such services available by advising the adoptive family that such services may be beneficial and referring the adoptive family to community resources and providers. 2. OAS will make information on adoption related educational and supportive resources available to adoptive families.
